Teen Titans Go! Battle Bootcamp is a battle-arena fighting game that features level-style New Game and Survival modes. The player helps Beast Boy, Cyborg, Raven, Robin and Starfire defeat dangerous creature and robot enemies in melee duels in a variety of environments and scenarios.
The player starts by selecting a mode of play. With the New Game mode, they start with the first of 10 levels that feature randomly selected fighting spaces. The player's goal is to defeat enemies and earn up to three stars. When they do well, they unlock the next level. With Survival mode, the player selects one of nine arenas (Street, Garden, Factory, Fortress, Rooftop, Titans Tower, H.I.V.E. Tower, Jump City Zoo and Galactic Prison) and then helps the Titans survive while also killing enemies and moving from round to round.
Each of the characters has unique abilities that they can use during a fight. They can shoot a weapon, perform an up-close attack, or launch a special attack. The player directs one of the characters to explore their environment. Whenever they cross paths with an enemy, they attempt to fight and defeat it.
Teen Titans Go! Battle Bootcamp allows the player to switch between the Titans during both modes of play. At any time, the player can make defeating a specific type of enemy easier by switching to a Titan who has a fighting ability that directly counters an enemy's actions.
