Hide Online is an online multiplayer action-shooting game that focuses on hide-and-seek play. The player joins a game as either a hunter or a "prop" (an object). The game blinds player hunters for approximately half a minute between hunts while player props hide. The hunters find and shoot props. The props try to hide until time runs out. The team that does the best within approximately three and a half minutes wins.
A player prop can become anything in a room, including a book, chair, computer, plant, present, sink, stone or toilet. A hunter must only fire when absolutely certain that they're about to shoot a prop. If they shoot a normal object, they lose health (hit) points.
Hide Online supplies a player with everything they need to prepare for the game via a main screen. Using the Inventory tab, the player can change their appearance as a hunter, swap weapons and unlock other skins and weapons. They receive free access initially to a machine gun, sawed-off shotgun and grenade launcher. The Play tab gives the player access to the available rooms. Lastly, the Options tab allows them to change their avatar's nickname and other settings.
