Blast Billiards is a skill sports game based on billiards play. The player's goal is to knock multiple black bombs into pockets on a traditional billiards table before time runs out. The game features 10 levels in total. The player must complete a level to move onto the next one.
The table design features a green top or slate, pine rails and holes for six pockets. On the first level, the player must hit six bombs into the pockets using a cue stick and white cue ball before 100 seconds run out. The game explodes with a "Kaboom!" if they run out of time, pocket a cue ball, or hit dynamite.
Blast Billiards challenges the player in several ways. For example, the time goes by extremely fast because of the controls for positioning the tip of the cue stick in the right direction. The game recommends that the player position their cursor above the bomb they want to hit before charging the force behind the cue stick using a red power bar.
