Tappus Free Kick Challenge is a sports game that features free kick or direct penalty kick soccer play. The player's goal is to help a character from the animated version of Tarak Metha Ka Oolta Chasma, based on the popular live-action series of the same name, become a free-kick champion.
The player directs their kicker on a two-tone green-striped soccer field to make goals by kicking soccer balls into both an unprotected and protected net. The player starts by learning how to kick into an unprotected goal net. The game then gradually increases the number and types of obstacles in the way. It adds a slow-moving goalie and then makes the goalie move faster. It also eventually adds defenders and even unique booster opportunities, such as a floating multiplier star.
Tappus Free Kick Challenge gives the player only five soccer balls. If the player uses up these balls, the game ends. The game then displays the player's top score and current score. The player must start over from the training kick.
How to play:
Follow the on-screen prompts to direct the character to kick the ball into the net. Keep in mind that curved kicks don't always curve with the swipe. Additionally, it's important to wait a second or two between swipes. Continue to kick the balls past every obstacle into the net to make goals. When the game ends, replay to beat the last top score.
Controls:
Mouse: Click buttons. To perform a free kick, position the cursor above the character, press the left button, swipe the mouse so that the cursor slides up the screen toward the net, and then release the button.
Mobile: Tap buttons. To perform a free kick, position the cursor, press the touch pad or screen, swipe the finger or stylus to make the cursor slide toward the net, and then stop pressing the surface.
