Golfinity is a putt-putt-style sports game. The player's goal is to direct a ball across a putting green into a hole that features a red-striped white pole and flag. The game offers Adventure Mode with dozens of levels and Endless Mode with practice and easy, medium and hard challenges.
The player doesn't receive a golf club. Instead, they use their controls to direct the amount of force that hits the ball. They can hit the ball directly or indirectly off white walls into the hole or along the rim so that it swirls on the edge and drops into the hole. The game offers the player a lot of fun challenges, including courses with odd shapes and breakable crates in the Adventure Mode and a hole that changes its position in the Endless Mode.
Golfinity rewards the player with points and coins they can use in the game's shop to buy common, uncommon and rare skins, hats and fields. If the player needs additional coins, they can earn more by watching advertisements. If they perform poorly, they lose red hearts that represent their health. Some courses allow the player to collect hearts by rolling their ball through bubbles.
The game also features power-up opportunities. That said, the player must watch ads to retrieve them. If they can't beat a challenge, they can also skip it by watching an ad.
