Archery is a first-person shooter that focuses on the sport of archery set in an open grass field near a forest. In level or endless play, the player shoots arrows at a bullseye target in an attempt to score points and achieve specific tasks such as breaking balloons and hitting a moving target.
Each of the target's concentric circles is a score ring. When the player hits close to the center, they win the most points. In the level mode, they win up to three gold stars and coins. To earn all three stars, they must shoot well enough to reach a specific point score before they run out of arrows. The player can then use the coins to upgrade their bow.
The player shoots an arrow at a stationary or moving target positioned at the 30-meter mark. The target might move in any direction. As a result, the player must take into account both the target's movement and wind speed and direction before they release the arrow.
Archery assists the player in two ways: It provides a wind speed and direction tool outlined in purple at the bottom-left corner of the screen. It also supplies a crosshair sight that the player can use to align the arrow with the target before they release it.
