Snake Escape
Snake Escape is a casual sorting game that combines parking jam and snake game elements. On a taupe ground, the player must direct snakes of all colors, shapes and sizes to leave the area without slithering into each other. If they're unsuccessful, a red warning light shines onto the screen, and the poorly directed snake's eyes start swirling like it hit its head. When they do well, they unlock the next level.
Unlike some games, Snake Escape doesn't penalize the player for misdirecting a snake. Instead, it merely doesn't allow them to access the new level until they've solved the sorting puzzle on their current one.
On any level, the player directs a snake that doesn't have its head blocked to slither off the screen. This action helps unblock the paths of other snakes positioned nearby in kinked or twisted positions alone or around other snakes.
Snake Escape increases the complexity of the snake jam and the colors and numbers of involved snakes with each new level. The player might find that the easiest method to sort the snakes is to start from the outside first. That said, on some levels, one or more snakes might block even snakes on the outside edge. Small snakes can also cause blocks.
The player can use the lower-left zoom view tool to more clearly see these and other challenges. They can also slide all remaining snakes around against the backdrop.
How to play:
Review the positions of the snakes. Select any part of a snake to direct it to slither away from the jam. If necessary, zoom in and out or slide around the snakes.
Controls:
Mouse: Click buttons and snakes. To zoom in and out using the view tool's slider instead of the plus (+) and (-) magnifier buttons or reposition the entire snake jam, click and drag the mouse.
Mobile: Tap buttons and snakes. To use the view tool's slider or move the snake jam, tap and drag the finger or stylus.
