Bubble Blast is a bubble shooter that offers a player a wide range of fresh ways to remove and pop bubbles on a playfield over hundreds of levels.
As with classic bubble shooters, the player attempts to shoot at least two connected, color-matched bubbles with a projectile bubble of the same color. The ultimate goal of this game is to remove as many bubbles as possible per single shot before running out of projectiles. As a result, the player must utilize various strategies to guarantee that each shot drops a large grouping of both matching and non-matching bubbles. They can use a preview of the pattern revealed when a level loads to help them prepare ahead.
The game doesn't provide a typical arrow, cannon or ring shooter. Instead, the projectile bubble appears at the center bottom of the screen with a dotted targeting line. The player can swap the projectile with one other option to make the most of available moves. Over time, they receive access to extra projectiles that allow them to have more than two projectile options to choose from for each shot.
Bubble Blast offers many hours of challenging fun. It supplies boosters, including bombs and explosives, crosshairs that make targeting easier, fireballs that cut through anything on the field and horizontal electrical strikes. The player might collect crowns or gems, shoot through clouds that hide the colors of bubbles or try to drop unpoppable stones. They can also grow plants in a separate mini-game magic garden.
