As its name suggests, 3 Pyramid TriPeaks 2 is a timed solitaire card game that follows classic TriPeaks rules but with an Ancient Egypt theme. Instead of layered cards representing peaks of mountains, the cards mimic pyramids.
The game offers 10 levels. The first level features three groups of face-up cards, 15 visible face-down cards, a number of cards hidden above the top of the screen, and a deck of 25 draw cards in a center position below the field with face-up cards to the left and right of it. The first game starts with a scarab card representing a Joker on the left and a King card on the right.
The player selects cards from the face-up ones based on the standard high-low, next-card rules. They can select any card, no matter the suit, that is the next one in either ascending or descending standard play order (i.e., A, 2, 3..., K, Q, J..., and so on). They can also go around the order by selecting the next high-low from Ace to King and King to Ace (i.e., K, A, 2... or A, K, Q... and so on). If they discover a Joker card, then they can use it to represent any card in the deck.
3 Pyramid TriPeaks 2 displays the level number, score and time in the lower-right corner. To the left of this area, it provides the player with a semicircular back arrow button that allows them to perform one undo move at a time.
If the player selects a card at any time that isn't a high-low, next card, they lose 100 points from their score.
