Onet Paradise is a tile-matching game with connect-style play. It features a bakery, breakfast and dessert shop theme. The player must score as many points as possible by removing a wide selection of theme-based pictures from a 12x8 grid made of floating blue, round-cornered spaces.
The treats include blueberry pies and waffles, cherry- and chocolate-topped vanilla cupcakes, chocolate chip cookies, batter, icing or pudding in mixing bowls, French bread loafs, iced donuts, toast in green toasters, and red oven mitts. The player can only remove pairs of identical items. The connect-style rules require that the player link the items with up to three lines and only up to two 90-degree angles with side-by-side straight lines or multiple lines across gaps between images and along the edges.
Onet Paradise challenges the player by moving the items around on the grid in different directions. It also offers mystery unlockable modes after the player completes the fifth and tenth levels. With these modes, the player can enjoy marathon and timed play.
The game has a hint tool as well labeled with a magnifying glass that the player can use up to three times to reveal pairs. That said, this version of the game allows unlimited hints, which means the player merely needs to select the plus (+) sign next to the icon to reset the tool. If they run out of hearts to use to continue when they run out of moves, they can play with reshuffled items by watching an advertisement.
