Zoojong is another fantastic online game derived from the classic Mahjong tile-matching game. Set across 40 levels, the game focuses on layered patterns of tiles displaying images of super-cute zoo animals. A player must clear every playfield of tiles by matching pairs based on the animal images.
The game initially seems to limit how many moves the player can complete during each level. It implies that if the player fails to have enough moves remaining to remove the tiles, they must start over. That said, they receive help from the game in a variety of ways. Tiles the player can match at any moment appear white. Unavailable tiles hidden beneath other tiles appear gray. The player also receives up to five hints and five tile reshuffles every level. If they're about to run out of moves, the game automatically reshuffles the tiles for them and reduces their availability number. Yet, it also seems to invisibly add extra moves to reduce stress.
Every time the player wins a level, they reveal an outdoor nature scene that was partially hidden beneath the tiles. They also receive up to three gold stars and reveal an animal freed from its cage. The zoo animals include a snail, rabbit, whale, lion, penguin and mouse. To receive all three gold stars per level in Zoojong, the player must complete the level before a colored, fluid-like material in a gauge to the right of the tiles drops below the stars attached to it.
