Yeti Sensation is a fun, winter-themed, endless running game that features a big, ape-like character, a Yeti, with brown spots and reddish-orange fur. The player must successfully help the Yeti bypass deadly objects and obstacles on a snow-covered road, across bridges and through tunnels in a mountainous region. Some of the dangers include fallen tree trunks, blocks of stone, mean snowmen, metal bear traps, cameras on tripods, wooden crate cages, giant snowballs, ice blocks and explosive barrels.
The player's main goals are to keep the Yeti running and beat their last best distance score away from the Yeti's cave home. The player must collect berries for the Yeti to purchase tools to help him keep running, including helmets, shoulder pads, gemstone hammers, rain boots, shorts and magnets. With a helmet and hammer, for example, he can bash snowmen and cameras out of the way. With the magnet, he can collect berries by attracting them to him rather than running through them on the path. He can also pick up special boosters along the road, such as golden multipliers that increases berries and rockets that allow him to blast through obstacles.
If the player fails to keep the Yeti from harm, the game makes them start over from the beginning. They get to keep the berries they collected in the previous attempt so that they can buy more boosters to protect the Yeti along the running path.
