Year Round Fashionista: Curly is a dress-up game. A young woman, Curly, needs the player's help to stay fashionable throughout the year. The player gives her a total makeover, which includes a fresh hairstyle, outfit and accessories.
Every level of the game has a special theme (Joyful January, Fond of February, Modern March, Adorable April, Mystical May, Juicy June, Jungle July, Airy August, Schoolyard September, Occult October, Numbing November and Deck the Halls December). The game chooses each level at random.
Year Round Fashionista: Curly isn't as customizable as many makeover games. The player picks a hairstyle from the same 12 options every month. Additionally, items vary by month. As a result, the available styles change every month. Some types of fashion and other items aren't always available. For example, the player doesn't always receive access to shoes, jewelry or purses. Rare items for Curly to hold or wear are based on the time of year, location or holiday.
It's important to note that the game doesn't offer a camera option when it reveals the character wearing the player's selections in ring calendar photos against stunning backdrops that represent each month. If the player wants to save an image to share with others or add to an idea book of trending fashions, they must create a copy using their computer or mobile screenshot or snip tool.
