WOW Words is a connect-style word search puzzle game. Across levels, the player earns coins by connecting different white letters inside of a circle to create words to fill in rows of empty spaces. They also attempt to find extra words that aren't part of the puzzle.
The player receives three or more letters in the circle below the rows. They use a pink line to connect the letters in any direction. If they find words that aren't in the puzzle, the game sends the words to a menu accessible via the lower-left corner star button. The player can also find words by using the lightbulb hint button in the lower-right corner. They pay for hints with their coins. They can track their balance in the top-center area.
WOW Words requires that the player imagine the words they can create with the available letters in the circle and then connect those letters quickly and with few mistakes. Otherwise, it resets the puzzle.
It's important to note that there isn't a visible timer so that the player can gauge the amount of time they have remaining to finish a level. They must merely create words as quickly as possible.
