It's time to play in the World Cup!
World Cup Fever is a sports game that features World Cup soccer action between teams from different countries. Unlike the real-world event, the teams are only represented by three characters per team. The player must perform all the actions of each member of their team manually using a targeting system with a directional arrow.
The player starts by selecting a country or allowing the game to randomly select one. The game then selects the opposing team's country and presents the player with an option to pick specific characters for both teams for Matchday 1. If the player successfully wins the first soccer game, they can then continue to pick teams for Matchday 2, Matchday 3, Round of 16, Quarter Finals, Semi Finals and the Final.
After the selection, the two teams meet on the field. The player must maneuver the three characters on their team successfully to block members of the opposing team from kicking the ball into their net. They must also attempt to score.
How to play:
Use the three players on the team to take control of the ball. Move team members quickly to maintain control of it. To win a goal, direct one of the players to kick the ball into the opposing team's net. Keep winning goals until the time runs out.
Controls:
Mouse: To direct a team member, slide the mouse to position the white cursor above the character, press and hold down the left button, slide the mouse to adjust the direction of the targeting arrow, and then release the button. Repeat quickly with all players.
Mobile: To direct a team member, slide the tip of a finger or stylus to move the cursor above the character, tap and hold the tip against the touchscreen or trackpad surface, slide to adjust the arrow's direction, and then remove the tip from the surface.
