Word Search: Hidden Words! is a word puzzle game. The player searches for words among mixed letters on boards in dozens of categories and hundreds of levels. Their main goals are to earn coins and unlock all the puzzles.
The categories include common everyday themes. The game allows the player to choose from nine categories to start (i.e., Animals, Art, Birds, Ship, Fly, Target, Carnival, Cars and Clothing).
Each category contains 20 levels. The player must play the first one to unlock the next one and so on. They receive 100 coins free in their upper-right coin bank to start. They can unlock the Computer category with these coins or wait to earn and save enough money to unlock the other ones.
Each level displays a list of words above a board that features columns and rows of mixed letters. A word might appear diagonally, horizontally, or vertically on the board. The player must draw with their cursor across letters to highlight a word. The game shows the letters they selected briefly above the list. When the player finishes, it scratches out the same listed word.
Word Search: Hidden Words! offers two hint buttons below the board. The one marked with a light bulb, for example, highlights an entire word with a 50-coin payment. The second one requires the player to view an advertisement and pay 100 coins. The player wins more coins at the end of the level.
