Word Connect Puzzle is a word game. Across levels, the player uses letters on a white circle to guess vocabulary words to fill in spaces on crossword-style columns and rows. The player uses a connecting line across the letters to form the words.
The game rewards the player with coins, gemstones and boosters. It also provides them with insightful facts about tourist locations, including the Grand Canyon, Steamboat Geyser, and the Great Barrier Reef.
On each level, the game confirms the player's guess by displaying the selected letters in order above the circle. It auto-fills a correct word in the spaces of a column or row. On some levels, the player must guess words before a digital timer counts down.
Extra words transfer to a collection area that is accessible via a lower-right button marked with "AZ" and down arrows. When the player collects eight extra words, the game rewards them with purple gemstones.
The player uses gems to open a gift box in the lower-left area that gives them coins and boosters. They can also open gift boxes with ad views. That said, the gift box only becomes available when they collect red gems that appear randomly on the columns and rows.
Word Connect Puzzle provides three main boosters. The player can select twisted double arrows at the center of the circle freely at any time to shuffle the letters. They can use a lower-left light bulb button to reveal a random letter and a lower-right hammer button to reveal a letter on a selected space. They receive additional access to button boosters with coins or gift box rewards.
