Woodoku Block Puzzle is a four-mode block-puzzle game that features wood blocks and backdrops. The player receives four distinctive gameplay options (Tetris, Jigsaw, Sudoku and Klotski) to prove their skills with manipulating wood blocks. Their goals are to earn the highest scores and perform tasks.
With Tetris, the player plays a classic game of Tetris. They must move and rotate dropping polyomino shapes into empty positions at the bottom of the field to form 10-block lines. With Jigsaw, they play standard block-puzzle games in which they create and complete 8-block horizontal and vertical lines by sliding polyomino shapes in sets of three onto a grid. They receive higher points for completing multiple lines at the same time.
The Woodoku Block Puzzle version of Sudoku doesn't require the player to rearrange numbered blocks. Instead, the player collects stars across levels on a 9x9 Sudoku board and 3x3 subgrids by forming 9-block lines. They must also complete challenges, such as create a column instead of a row line or view ads to explode bombs and access special shapes. Lastly, with Klotski, the player attempts to earn up to three stars per level by selecting a grid size and then rearranging numbered sliding blocks into a specific order before they run out of time.
