VegaMix Da Vinci Puzzles is a match-3 puzzle game in the ever-popular VegaMix series. Join Vicky and her friends, Alice and Alex, on a time travel adventure! Their group has landed in Italy during the Italian Renaissance. A young Leonardo da Vinci needs their help to complete some of his works. The player assists Vicky and the others by winning match-3 games to earn enough stars to progress through the story.
As with other VegaMix games, this one offers standard match-3 play. The player must complete tasks given to them on a left-side panel before they run out of moves. Common tasks include collecting a specific number of tiles by color and type, bluebirds from birdhouses, and seashells in leather baskets.
The player performs these and other tasks by aligning three or more identical items along rows and columns. They also use special items and boosters. Special items include bombs, fidget spinners, rockets and flower-shaped rainbow pinwheels. The player can combine the powers of two adjacent special items for more powerful moves.
VegaMix Da Vinci Puzzles rewards the player with coins and stars. The player uses the coins to add prefabricated special items to boards at the start of play and access the right-side boosters. They use the lower-left Quests tool on the main screen and one or more stars to access each story scene.
The game rewards the player in other ways as well. The player can earn extra coins at any time by viewing ads. They also receive gifts after they win enough levels and play mini games.
