Uphill Rush 12 is a racing game set in a boardwalk carnival area on a pier. A player must complete 20 races with the fastest times possible to win. During the races, they collect coins to perform upgrades on their avatar and vehicle to make both perform better in terms of acceleration, balance, boost and speed.
The player must pick a male or female avatar and a vehicle to ride on the pier. As the game progresses, they unlock a variety of options, including human characters wearing casual clothes and sportswear and gold and silver statues. Their vehicle options expand beyond a yellow taxi to include other types of cars, skateboards, scooters, airboats and even horses. If they're willing to watch an advertisement, they can start out with a 1,000 coins.
Each timed race in Uphill Rush 12 is conducted on a section of wooden boardwalk that includes flat and inclined areas, giant loops, gaps between sections, shops and swimming zones. The player can ride their vehicle through the shops and float it on water. The player collects coins by riding through them on the boardwalk and performing stunts. They can flip their vehicle multiple times forward and backward when it's flying through the air after it speeds off a loop or ramp.
How to play:
Make the vehicle accelerate forward to give it the speed it needs to handle steep inclines. Collect coins. Push obstacles out of the way. Use boost to race as fast as possible in the boardwalk loops in the air. Perform high-flying stunts.
Controls:
Keyboard: Uphill Rush 12 requires a keyboard. To accelerate, press Up Arrow. To decelerate, press Down Arrow. To use boost, press Spacebar. To perform stunts, press Up Arrow and Left or Right Arrow.
Mouse: Click buttons. To use the boost button, position the cursor above the button, and then press the left mouse button and Up Arrow at the same time.
Mobile: Tap buttons. To use the boost button, position the cursor above the button, and then press the trackpad or touchscreen surface and Up Arrow at the same time.
