Turn Turn is a casual, skill game that challenges a player to turn and merge motor vehicles into busy city traffic without causing a crash. The player doesn't need driving skills. Instead, they must have great situational awareness and hand-eye coordination.
The player starts out with a basic car. Although the game doesn't have true-to-life graphics, it does offer some realistic play. The player must turn their vehicle and others behind it onto a street where cars, trucks, commercial vehicles and police cruisers are moving at varying speeds in ways seen on real-life streets. If they don't time the turn and merge perfectly, they either drive into another vehicle or get hit by one.
Turn Turn doesn't leave the player struggling without help. A green arrow shows the turn point. A white arrow shows the merge lane. In some cases, the player must cross the slow lane to merge into the fast one. They might also need to cross all lanes of traffic at a light and intersection instead of merge so that their vehicles can continue on the same street.
The player can upgrade their vehicle randomly with cash they collect from behind random vehicles and the successful completion of each level. Upgrades include an SUV, a police cruiser, an antique car, a dump truck, a tow truck, a concrete mixing truck and an ice cream truck. If the player doesn't mind watching an advertisement, they can multiply the amount. Once they have enough cash, they can purchase and use a different vehicle. If they crash for any reason, they must restart from the first level no matter how far they've progressed in the game.
