Trucks Race is a casual racing game that tasks a player with transporting cargo from one location to another as quickly as possible. The game features obstacle racecourse play on roads through busy towns across various environments during different seasons. The player must navigate busy traffic without hitting NPC traffic. They're also eventually invited to start their own transportation company, join a truckers league, and race against players from different countries to attempt to rank at the top of a global leaderboard.
After each race, the player earns gold coins they need to randomly unlock new truck colors and models and other vehicles from 36 available options, including a van, a semi and an ambulance. They drive through coins on the road. They also win coins at the end of a race. They can also multiply their winnings or unlock a vehicle by watching advertisements.
With every win in Trucks Race, the player unlocks new and more complex roads. They might need to race in a loop or near train tracks and fast-moving trains. That said, the game doesn't require the player to steer their vehicle. Their truck follows a preset path marked with a green line on each road. They merely need to help it accelerate at the right time.
