Toy Match 2 is a match-3 puzzle sequel to the popular, fun Toy Match game. A player helps a young girl match and collect toy blocks marked with carvings of stars, animals, flowers, butterflies and other items and other objects across more than 2,500 levels found on a dirt path that runs through a landscape that features other types of giant toys.
The match-3 toys appear in on boards floating above green grass. They're jumbled up into rows and columns. The player must create connected lines of three or more of the same toys to remove them from a board. They're tasked by the girl to remove a certain number of each type of toy to win a level. If the player uses boosters, they can remove the toys faster.
Toy Match 2 gives the player a lot of different boosters, including several Line and Cross Blasts, Swap Booster, Star Wand, Horizontal Pin and Vertical Pin. They can create several types of boosters by match four or more of the same toy or combining boosters. If they do well when they win a level in Toy Match 2, they receive coins and stars. They can use their winnings to buy additional boosters. They also receive coins and boosters by opening presents and treasure chests.
Beyond standard play, Toy Match 2 offers a Tournament mode. The girl gives them different tasks per competitive game. For example, they might need to earn the best score with a certain number of moves.
