Time Numbers in 2048! is a merge game that features elements of 2048 games. Although the title features the word "time" in it, it doesn't have a timed component. Instead, it offers endless play. The player attempts to make ever-higher-numbered tiles on a 5x7 board for as long as possible through merge actions. They also attempt to earn an all-time-high score.
The player merges two or more tiles that have identical colors and numbers in diagonal, horizontal and vertical directions. The selected cluster of all the tiles forms a new higher-numbered ones at the selection point. The number on the new tile varies based on the total number of pieces in the cluster. For example, two matching tiles form a tile with a value equal to the sum of the numbers. The number that appears after merging multiple matching pairs within a cluster depends entirely on the number of pairs.
Time Numbers in 2048! places a gold crown and sparkles on new tiles. Over time, it drops larger-numbered tiles on the board and removes smaller-numbered ones. For example, the game drops a 32 tile onto the board after the player creates a new tile that features a number higher than 2048. Once it starts to drop larger tiles into gaps, it removes the lowest-numbered tiles at that time permanently from the board and future drops.
