Tile Path is a tile-matching game with a match-3 element. From level to level, the player must clear away layered tiles from a wood plank table stamped with leaves and flowers. They also attempt to earn as many gold coins as possible and up to three gold stars per level.
The player can remove any tile, but the game doesn't make the tiles disappear from the playfield until the player has matched three tiles on a display bar near the bottom of the screen. The round-cornered white square tiles feature food and beverage imagery, including bananas, candy canes, cherries, grapes, ice cubes, limes, lollipops, oranges, strawberries and twist-wrapped hard candy.
The bar only holds seven tiles at a time. To win a level, the player must remove every tile from the table without accidentally filling the bar entirely. If they do well, they can collect gold coins. If they don't mind watching ads, they can collect up to five times their base winnings in bonus coins from a rainbow-colored multiplier bar.
Tile Path allows the player to buy access to helpful tools with the coins they win, including a hint button marked with a lightbulb that pulls a set of three matching tiles from the field, a refresh button marked with two twisted arrows that shuffles all remaining tiles, and an undo back arrow button that reverses the last move.
The game also allows the player to use their gold coins to spin a lucky wheel to receive prizes. They can access this wheel via a treasure chest icon.
