Match 3
Temple Jewels is an endless match-3 game that tasks a player with matching three or more gemstones in connected lines (rows and columns) across more than 100 levels. The game is set in the ruins of an ancient South American stone temple with broken walls, carved stones and burning torches.
The player must match a variety of rough jewels inside spaces highlighted with a blue grid made of squares or hexagons. They receive a limited number of moves and time to complete their tasks. The game displays the moves available at the top left corner at the center of a stone carving. The timer appears as a ring of energy that slowly fades away.
Temple Jewels also offers the player a hint booster labeled with a magic wand. When the player uses this tool, the game provides additional highlighting around two jewels that the player can swap to complete new lines. If they perform well, they move on to the next level. If they fail to finish in time, they must start over from the beginning of the game. If they start over, they can add their name and previous score to a global leaderboard.
How to play:
Check the grid for side-by-side gemstones that match a third gemstone that can create a line within one move. Swap the third jewel with a non-matching one to complete the row or column. Repeat this process until the grid disappears from the playfield. If necessary, use the hint tool. Complete each level before moves or time run out.
Controls:
Mouse: Click all buttons. To swap two jewels to form a row or column, position the cursor above the third matching stone, press the left button, slide the stone toward the non-matching one, and then release the button.
Mobile: Tap all buttons. To swap two jewels, position the cursor, press the trackpad or touchscreen, slide the stone toward the non-matching one, and stop pressing the surface.
