Tap Me is a timed click-tap, hidden-object matching game. The player searches backgrounds for specific people hidden in crowds. They must find and select everyone in a scene before they run out of time. If they fail, they must start over and win before they can unlock the next stage of the game.
Each scene features various people performing actions. For example, the player might observe the people walking across a street or a grassy area in a park. They must find and select the person displayed on an instant photo and at the top-left corner of the screen.�
The player searches multiple times across each stage. They must take care to select a person at the moment that the character's movements match the example. When they perform this task correctly, the game shines a spotlight on the person and blasts bursts of confetti across the screen.
It's important to note that some characters face the direction opposite of the one depicted in the example. When this happens, the player can still select the person, as long as the clothing colors and overall actions match.
Tap Me helps the player find and make selections. For example, if the character walks off the screen, it typically appears on the opposite side a few seconds later. The game also slows down the person's movements when the clock at the upper-center area is nearly out of time.
The player can review their score, best score and time at the end of each stage.
