Tangled Snakes: Sort Puzzle is a sorting logic-puzzle game similar to parking and stranding fish games. It displays a group of snakes in a cluster or pile at the center of the playfield. The player's goal is to direct the snakes one by one away from this area.
The short, medium and long anthropomorphic snakes often rest in a cluster or pile in straight, semicircular or curled positions. Some snakes rest atop other snakes. The player selects a snake to prompt it to change position. They might need to direct it to slither into another snake to make room for a different snake to slither past its tail. They might also need to prompt a snake to slither around an animal trap, through an artificial tunnel, and away from other obstacles.
Tangled Snakes: Sort Puzzle allows the player to update the snake skins with different colors, patterns, scales and stripes over time via purchases with gems or ad video views. It also allows them to update the background with different climate and geographic locations.
Additionally, the player receives access to a mini game called Hunt in which they direct a single large snake on an island battle arena to chase and eat red stickmen enemies. In this area, they use their winnings to upgrade capacity, recovery rate and speed to make the hunter snake perform better with each new attack.
