Super Brawl Showdown! is a remake of Nickelodeon's Super Brawl 2 crossover-fighting game and a sequel designed by a fan. It features 24 series and 10 new characters, which brings the total up to 48 playable characters. It also features more than 50 stages, including Krusty Krab, Frosty Mart, Fairy World, Penguin Lair, Amity Park, Wasteland, Madagascar Jungle, Jellyfish Fields, Playground, Carnival, Pier 31, Pumpkin Patch, Autumn Forest, House of Pain and the Flying Dutchman's Ship.
The game offers Arcade, Tournament, Multiplayer, Tag Team, Survival, Training and Watch modes. In Arcade mode, the player picks the fighters and stages. In Tournament, they advance one fight at a time. In Multiplayer, they fight global online players. In Tag Team, they team up with a second player in real time. In Survival, they fight with only one bar of health. In Training, they practice against all fighters in all stages. In Watch, they pick both fighters for a match from the entire roster in any stage and watch the game's AI pit the characters against each other.
Super Brawl Showdown! gives every character standard punch, kick and evade moves and special and super special moves. Additionally, the game features a mini-game in which the player must collect artifacts in the stages to add to a hidden space station area (Vault).
