Sugar Shock is the perfect game for those who are looking for a fun, new experience. In Sugar Shock, proper matching of sweets will guide your progress in the game. It is a competitive match-3 game is based on the reality that those in a position to match several sweets within a short period will have a sweeter score. The matching of sweets is set to be cleared in 60 seconds, and it is strongly recommended for players to match as many sweets as possible within a limited time.
Sugar Shock is a game developed by Jason Kapalka, a developer responsible for coming up with the original bejeweled. It is available on both desktop and mobile phone web browsers. It was released in November 2019 with the help of AppData, an analytic tool that helps developers to track the performance of their apps.
The gameplay of Sugar Shock consists of four rounds (stages), each lasting 60 seconds. During this period, players are given three lives (candies) to play with; when one life is used up, the player will have to wait for two minutes before being able to use another life again. In each round/stage, players are required to match three or more sweets within 60 seconds by swapping two adjacent sweets vertically or horizontally for them to disappear from the playing field and be replaced by new ones that fall from above. When matching three or more identical sweets vertically or horizontally, the sweets will explode and the number of sweets will increase by two.
Players who have already matched three or more identical sweets will be awarded a life (candy) for every additional sweet matched. Matched sweets can also be chained, meaning that when you match three identical sweets vertically or horizontally, the next match will only require two identical sweets instead of three to be cleared from the playing field.
