Spin Master, a fighter game with dungeon elements, pits a floating character with black eyes against a wide variety of colorful monsters with only rotating and spinning blades for defense.
The player navigates the character through dark rooms with checkerboard floors. They must position their avatar close enough for the blades to strike the monsters. Each monster has a health meter on the top of its head, which makes it easier for the player to determine how many more strikes they need to perform to kill a monster. If the player allows one or more monsters to move past the blades, then the character dies, and they must restart the level. If they win, they unlock the next room (level). They sometimes also unlock a boss fight.
The health meters on regular monsters can display hundreds of points. During boss fights, the player might face monsters with thousands of points. The player can pick up fallen blades and boosters after killing some monsters. With the latter, they can make all the blades rotating around the character super fast and take out boss monsters more easily. When the player wins against a boss, they earn new unique blades and a hero with a blade crown.
The game allows the player to use coins they earn with each kill to upgrade the blades. Additionally, they can acquire coins, power and multipliers via rewards.
