Spider Swing Manhattan is a fun, Spiderman-themed, skill game that's similar to endless and infinite runner platformers. The player must strategically use precision timing and building and other fixed elements on a cityscape background to swing the main character through the air from location to location without stopping.
The player's goals are to maintain forward momentum across the city without falling for as long as possible and earn points. The player loses a round if the character loses their hold after they swing too high, low or backwards or bashes into objects unless the player can quickly re-orient the character and help them anchor to a stable object to prevent a fall.
The player must release the spider webbing and time every swing perfectly starting with the initial trampoline jump and every moment after. Without skillful timing and hand-eye coordination, the player can't attach and anchor the webbing or the character loses their hold fairly quickly and falls to their death. The game makes the cityscape increasingly difficult by placing a wide range of people and objects in the way, including balconies, drones and open windows.
