Sort My Parking Area is a sorting game. The player manages a city parking lot in a mixed commercial and residential area. The game blocks vehicles in the lot with other vehicles and various objects that include concrete barriers, traffic cones, trash cans, fire hydrants and mail collection boxes.
The player can direct a vehicle to drive straight out of the lot or back out, turn and then drive away. They also navigate around more than just non-moving objects. They must often time a vehicle's movement to bypass retractable security posts known as bollards that intermittently rise up to block the way. If they prompt a vehicle to move too quickly after a set of posts returns to the ground, the car crashes into the tops of the posts.
That said, Sort My Parking Area doesn't penalize the player when they direct a vehicle to crash into any objects. Crashing into the tops of the posts merely forces the player to feel irritation and repeat the move. Additionally, if the player wants to skip a level at any time, they simply need to use the Skip tab in the lower-left area and watch an ad video. They can also replay a level by using the lower-right Replay tab.
