Solitaire Emperor: Secrets of Fate is a card adventure game that features TriPeaks Solitaire rules. A magical world based on Tarot divination and fortune-telling will soon die without the player's help! To make discoveries that can save the planet, the player must clear levels of face-up and face-down standard playing and other cards in chapters based on the 22 figures and cards of the Major Arcana.
The player starts with The Fool chapter. It features a youth sitting on the top of a hill looking at the path before him. The Fool marks a new beginning and an adventurous journey. To reach the next Major Arcana figure and card, The Magician, the player must clear cards from 10 levels.
Some cards appear in a unique central pattern. The rest appear as a horizontal layered draw pile with one face-up card next to the pile. The player selects the next higher or lower card among the face-up cards in the pattern based on that card's value. If they can't find the necessary card, they then select draw pile cards until they find a match or use a Joker wild card in the lower-right area. If they make a mistake, they can use a back arrow next to the face-up card.
Solitaire Emperor: Secrets of Fate rewards the player with coins applied like points to a running total on the main screen to unlock the next chapter. The player earns more coins when they make matches in an uninterrupted streak. Over time, they receive helpful booster-style special cards, such as green cards marked with numbers that supply them with extra cards.
In similar games, they would use coins to purchase extra draw pile cards, undo moves and Jokers. This game only allows them access to these tools when they view ads. As a result, the player must watch ads if they become stuck or replay a level entirely.
