Soccer Heads is a timed sports game that features teams from the United Kingdom with members that have giant heads playing one-on-one games on a soccer field. One or two players compete to attempt to make the most goals within the span of a 60-second match.
A player selects their team. On the field, they're represented by one avatar character. They must direct their avatar to kick or head a ball over the head of their opponent's avatar. If the ball successfully rolls into the opponent's net, they make a goal. The game also features a variety of unique power-ups that the player can use to enhance gameplay, such as a bowling ball, flames from a fire and a lightning bolt.
Soccer Heads challenges the player in different ways. The player might direct their avatar accidentally too close to their opponent's avatar, which makes it jump automatically over the character. Their opponent can then effortlessly kick the ball into their net. They might also allow the ball to fall behind their avatar and accidentally roll it into their own net. When this happens, their opponent receives a goal.
