Snake Puzzle: Slither to Eat! is a snake logic-puzzle game that features platform game elements. From level to level, the player must direct a snake to eat apples and other food without it falling off flat and geometric platforms hanging in the sky. They also attempt to earn three stars.
The snake slithers left, right, up and down on its stomach or back. Its body can also form kinks to move around corners and edges. When the player directs it toward an apple, it opens its mouth. After it eats, they can direct it toward other apples or a swirling black-and-gray portal that takes it to the next level.
On some levels, the player makes the snake perform tasks. For example, they might direct it to push an object close to an out-of-range portal to create stairs.
Snake Puzzle: Slither to Eat! provides a non-penalty upper-left reload button. The player can skip any level via the Skip button in the same area. That said, the game also offers a Hint button that displays an onscreen guide in the form of directional arrows.
The player receives new snake skins, food and backdrops as rewards over time. They can also use an upper-right white t-shirt button and ad views to unlock these custom options. If they're willing to view ads, they can earn more hints via the grocery basket button. Skins and hints are also available as daily rewards.
Lastly, the player eventually gains access to a retro pixelated snake game on the home screen. With this side game, they attempt to earn as many points as possible for as long as possible while the snake grows increasingly large with each new apple it eats.
