Snake Ball is a hypercasual, endless bubble-popping game. Each mode of play features a snake made of bubble balls that rolls along at different speeds within a track toward a tunnel in the ground. The player attempts to stop the snake from reaching the hole by performing match-3 play. They also try to earn the highest score possible.
The game offers three unique track challenges. After the player selects one, they receive a simple rotating shooter that looks like concentric circles. They also receive two swappable, colored bubble ball projectiles. The outer circle holds the primary projectile, and the inner circle holds the secondary one.
The player can swap these bubbles at any time before they shoot at the train. When they're ready, they must create a cluster of three or more color-matched bubbles to destroy the balls. If they can't find a match or a setup for a future shot, they can shoot a projectile off to the side of the screen.
Snake Ball tracks the player's score in the upper-left corner and their time in the upper-right one. At the end of a round, it allows them to save a username with their score and register to play with a login.
