Slice It All is a runner with hypercasual skill-based play. A player cuts through nearly every object on an obstacle course to earn points. Their only goals are to earn the most points possible and upgrade their cutting tools and special effects.
The player receives access to three types of cutting tools as they progress through the game (knife, cleaver and long knife). The game also supplies them with brilliant, peaceful special effects that include white air whooshes, rainbow lines, purple blooms and golden stars.
The player can flip their cutting tool over or cut through nearly any obstacle. Common obstacles include stacked pencils, bricks, desserts, plastic blocks, pipes, playing cards, wooden structures, anvils and dominoes. They also come across bouncing, rotating and swinging smiley faces that make juicy fruit sounds.
The game offers checkpoints made of cuttable cash. That said, if the player cuts a red spiked block or their tool hits the ground, they lose the round and must restart at either the beginning of the level or a checkpoint.
Slice It All is so fun and relaxing because it doesn't put a lot of pressure on the player. It doesn't have a timer. It features pleasant nature backgrounds coupled with sounds of chirping and singing birds. Every slice generates a calm slicing sound as well. Sliced objects contain beautiful interior colors that contrast nicely with exterior colors. Every piece also falls gently and naturally down the screen.
