Shuigo, also known as Shuiguo or Fruit, is a connect-style tile-matching game. The player's goals are to match tiles to clear a playfield and earn a high score.
On a gradient purple field, the player must remove all tiles before a tiny monkey running on a horizontal timer line reaches bananas on the far left side of the screen. If they fail, they lose and must start over. If they win, they play again and continue to add to their score.
The tiles primarily feature a variety of fruit, such as bananas, coconuts, grapes, kiwis, lychees, pineapples, pomegranates, pumpkins, starfruit and tomatoes. The images on the tiles also include leaves from different types of plants, brown, capped mushrooms and special rainbow-colored gems.
The player can't select tiles around a gap. They can only remove side by side and stackedmatching tiles, pieces positioned across gaps and tiles along the sides. They must also only use up to three blue connect lines that equal two 90-degree angles. The game won't allow them to pair tiles in any other scenarios.
Shuigo displays the player's score in the upper area of the screen to the left of two buttons. The player can use the first button to receive a hint. After they select this tool, the game outlines two matching tiles with dark blue highlighting.
