Shop Sorting 2 is a match-3 sorting game with a supermarket employment theme. The player works as a visual specialist at a busy mega grocery store where they're responsible for rearranging a mix of food, household and other everyday products into organized categories on shelves.
The player receives access to shelves that display a wide range of products in the wrong positions. For example, the food items include bottled and cup beverages, boxed and canned items, fresh fruits and vegetables, hot and cold foods, and a variety of snacks. The player must arrange the products into sets of three matching items. After they create a set, the game removes it. Any items at the back of the shelf move to the front.
Shop Sorting 2 increases the number and type of items over time with each new challenge. It offers three main boosters to help the player, including a hint tool that reveals and removes a set of products, a clock that freezes the timer, and a shuffle option that auto-switches all the remaining items into new positions.
After the player sorts products correctly, their actions unlock new products. They receive access to store layout upgrades as well.
