Shiny Jewels is a match-3 puzzle game with a luxury jewelry theme. The player creates and collects sets of vibrant, shiny jewels by using match-3 maneuvers. Their goals across levels are to collect specific gemstone targets and earn coins.
The player starts by reviewing the gemstone goal in the Targets area in the upper-left corner. They create a jewel set by swapping a jewel with a nearby one in only one move next to two adjacent matching jewels.
Shiny Jewels offers special items to help the player perform matches. When the player makes a line of four jewels, they create a rocket that clears an entire column or row. If they make a set of five jewels, they create a rainbow-colored, jewel-shaped bomb that removes all jewels based on a specific type. If they merge two special items, they amplify the powers of each one.
The game presents the player with numerous challenges. For example, the player must perform matches or use special items near collectible objects to complete some tasks. They can also use four different boosters located below the field. Additionally, the game charges a rainbow-colored bomb during play in the top-center area that the player can use after it charges completely.
On the home screen, the player also collects prizes from a lucky spin wheel, buys or views ads to acquire extra special items and boosters in the game's shop, and claims a daily reward. They also receive the opportunity to play a Time Attack! side game.
