Seat Jam 3D is a sorting game that requires the player to sort stickmen passengers in train cars into their correct seats across levels. The player receives a limited number of steps to complete this task, as displayed at the top of the screen under the level number. When they're successful, they receive multiple options to collect coins they need to update the running trails behind the passengers to different colors and shapes.
The player receives access to a top-down view of a train car that has green-colored seated passengers and red seated and standing ones. They use the letter and number displayed on the tops of each red passenger's head and numbers on the car's borders to seat each one correctly.
To make this process work, the player might need to move other seated or standing passengers to new positions. The game confirms correct placement by turning the red passengers green. If the player wants to perform special actions, such as swapping two passengers' positions with one step, they can access boosters at the bottom of the screen via ad views.
Seat Jam 3D gives the player three mystery chests and coin winnings at the end of each level. The player can also collect coins by accepting daily bonuses.�
If the player doesn't mind viewing ad videos, they can collect a lot of extras, such as 2,000 free coins on the home screen, daily task rewards accessible via the Quest icon on the same screen, multipliers of any coin winnings, and even extra mystery chests and special running trails. If they run out of steps, they can also revive their play rather than restart the level with an ad view.
