Fun & Run Race 3D is a casual racing game that requires the player to possess great time and hand-eye coordination. The player directs the starting and stopping movement of a stickman-style figure that runs on an initially gray and pink, striped race track hanging in the sky. The player's only goal is to direct the figure successfully to the end of the track.
Of course, the game doesn't make this task easy. The figure faces extremely dangerous obstacles every few steps along the track, including rotating overhead shapes, slamming hammers, rings with narrow openings that turn sideways and blocks that slide on metal tracks. If the player fails to direct the figure through these obstacles with perfect timing, the obstacles can cause serious harm, such as break, electrocute, knock down or smash it. These types of outcomes reset a portion of the run in a way similar to savepoint play or the entire level.
Fun & Run Race 3D also has an upgradeable skin option. The player can use an avatar marked with a stickman in glasses to access skin upgrades. They receive a basic green figure to start. They must earn gemstones to pay for clothing and any other changes to the character.
