Run 3, a running game with a space theme, requires a player to help an alien character run through tunnels among the stars. The challenge is to make it through each tunnel without falling into the void through small and large openings of varying shapes in the floors, ceilings and walls.
The game features two modes (Explore and Infinite). In Explore mode, the player discovers new areas of the Galaxy Map as they continue on their path. In Infinite mode, the player enters an endless-runner scenario. They also need to find power cells to aid in their run. Both modes offer tunnels of different shapes and sizes, including square and cylindrical ones.
The game contains many achievement tasks beyond collecting power cells. For example, depending on the mode, the player must dislodge tiles, run certain distances and prevent their avatar from touching the ground or boxes or changing gravity. When they achieve a goal, they receive a gold crown.
As the player progresses through the levels, they can unlock new tunnels and playable characters.
