Royal Garden Match is a match-3 puzzle game that features a luxurious, royal summer garden theme. The player's goal is to help a princess collect items from the gardens using match-3 mechanics. They earn points, flower-embossed coins and gold stars as winnings.
On each level, the player must complete a task in a garden. For example, the princess might want them to collect specific items like butterflies, ladybugs, leaves or mushrooms; earn a specific number of points; or remove unwanted items like broken stones. They receive a limited number of moves. As a result, they must think carefully before making the matches.
To complete a task, the player aligns three matching items in a row or column by swapping two adjacent items. The game provides them with several helpful tools as they progress through the levels to make their tasks easier.
For example, when the player matches more than three items, they receive special items that perform power moves. They use line and cross blasts to collect all items in a row or column or both. They use rainbow roses to remove all instances of one type of item from a garden with a single move. When they combine a blast with an adjacent rose, they turn all matching items into special items. They also receive access to boosters, such as a garden glove that allows them to swap two items from anywhere in a garden.
Royal Garden Match rewards the player in various ways. The player receives daily reward gift boxes. They also receive access to different types of gifts at random when they unlock new levels, reach hidden milestones, and use a lucky spin wheel. If the player is willing to view ad videos, they can multiply their winnings and perform extra wheel spins.
