Royal Garden Match 2 is a match-3 puzzle game. The royal garden keeper, Aria, needs the player to help her once again collect items and complete other tasks.
On a level, the player reviews tasks displayed in an upper-center area. They must typically collect basic garden items, such as blue mushrooms, green leaves, pink tulips, red ladybugs and yellow butterflies, by aligning three or more matching ones along a column or row or using special items like Line and Cross Blasts and Rainbow Rose Color Bombs. They must also remove unique items from gardens, such as broken stones on paths and ice from around plants, and gather flower basket bouquets.
The player tracks their score progress below the task area. They review their star progress and moves in the upper-left area. They earn the most points when they have a lot of moves remaining at the end of a level. They earn all three stars when they complete a level quickly with few mistakes. They can combine matching and non-matching adjacent special items to work faster via power-based effects. They can also use four boosters below a board, such as a glove that swaps two items, a shovel that removes one piece, and rainbow-colored strawberries that remove all items from columns and rows.
Royal Garden Match provides a wide variety of options for collecting rewards over time. The player can double their coins and use a spin wheel with ad views. They can pop floating bubbles on the garden map and open hope chests. Aria randomly gives them achievement, floral and royal gifts. The game also offers similar prizes for daily challenges and special events.
