Royal Bubble Blast is a bubble-popping game. Among flowers and statues in a sunlit castle garden, the player must pop glossy, bubble balls on a royal purple, golden-framed background. Their ultimate goal is to earn as many points as possible and clear the field.
The player can only pop clusters of three or more color-matched bubbles. They receive a tunnel shooter, projectile, dotted targeting line and preview of the next projectile with each shot. When they create a cluster, the bubbles fall from the field into point zones. When they perform a streak of consecutive shots, some bubbles drop and pop at random.
If the player fails to make a shot, they receive a pass. They can make five foul shots. The game then penalizes them by adding a line of bubbles to the top of the field. Every time they receive a penalty, the game reduces the total number of fouls available with each new round. After the fifth round, the player receives back the five passes, but then the game adds extra lines (i.e., two for round two, three for round three, and so on).
Royal Bubble Blast wipes away a color once the player removes it completely from the field. For example, if the player removes all red bubbles, the game�won't use that color in future penalty lines or the shooter.
The game displays the player's score to the right of the shooter and the all-time best score to the left. It places their final score automatically on a list of top players.
