Relaxing Puzzle Match is a tile-matching, logic-puzzle merge game with popular match-3 elements. It challenges the player to remove colored tiles from a playfield of gray tiles by arranging the colored ones in specific ways that make them disappear from it.
The playfield is a gray grid with arrows along the edges that point toward the center of the board. It has at least two colored tiles marked by white arrows as well. The player receives a limited number of additional tiles above the grid. They use these tiles to create connected lines of three or more matching tiles of the same color. For example, they might place a red tile on the board on a row or column leading to two other red tiles.
If the player performs the matching task correctly, the game automatically frees the tiles from the board, removes them and rewards the player with points. If these tiles prevent the movement of a tile with an arrow pointing to the edges of the playfield, that tile slides off the grid after removal. When the player wins a level, they receive up to three smiley faces that act as replacements for standard match-3 stars.
Relaxing Puzzle Match also offers boosters. The player can use a paintbrush tool to change the color of an extra tile to make a group match faster. They use an undo button to correct a mistake. To earn boosters, the player must watch advertisements.
