Reagents! is a sorting game that requires a player to sort colorful bands of liquids into various types of laboratory flasks to achieve specific chemical reactions. The game starts out with drawings of classic white outlines of test tube flasks. When the player sorts the liquids and fills all the flasks with a single-colored reagent, they win coins. Over time, they can use the coins to play with different types of flasks.�
The player must sort the colored bands one by one into the flasks. They can only pour a colored band into an empty flask or atop another band of the same color. If they make a mistake, they can use the undo back arrow near the upper-right corner up to five times per level. They can also reload the level by using the semicircular front arrow in the upper-right corner.
When the player fills a flask with one color, bubbles puff out of the top and the liquid begins to glow. If they need an additional empty flask, they merely need to watch an advertising video. They can also skip a level entirely by viewing an ad.
Reagents! offers various types of challenging obstacles in later levels. For example, the player receives access to mystery liquids in some flasks hidden by black shadows and marked with white question marks. They can only sort these liquids by first selecting a flask to reveal the color of the topmost band, memorizing this information, and then repeating the process with the other flasks.
The game also offers a daily bonus challenge level in which the player must complete a difficult task, such as sorting mystery liquids in all flasks.
