Ragdoll Fight is a battle-arena fighting game that focuses on the art of boxing and ragdoll physics. Every boxer in this game moves and falls like a child's toy ragdoll. The game further promotes this idea of the player fighting in playful rounds similar to childhood pretend battles by referring to each unique arena as a playground.
The player can play against up to three of the game's AI bot fighters or a friend. They also receive access to two game modes (Campaign and Battle). They can only unlock the Battle mode by watching an advertisement.
In Campaign mode, they select every unique boxer by watching an ad and then fight random ragdoll boxers in arenas. Each battleground features a variety of obstacles, such as black-and-yellow-striped emergency bars, pieces of furniture, sealed cardboard boxes, stair platforms and wooden crates. An arena might look like a boxing arena or a strange futuristic grid. In Battle mode, they fight AIs or a friend. In this mode, they must accept a random ragdoll.
Ragdoll Fight does include some semi-realistic play. When the player's ragdoll takes a hit, its horizontal health meter loses power. Eventually, splotches of green fluid appear on the arena floor or ground.
